Our dental health assessments involve checking the health of your mouth, teeth and gums to ensure there are no underlying problems.
During the examination, we may use an intra-oral camera - guided around your mouth it allows us to see any problems. We may also take X-rays in order to diagnose any problems that are not visible to the naked eye (e.g. beneath a filling, between teeth, the bone and supportive structures and abscesses).
If we identify any problems, we will discuss the options you have to solve them and provide you with a treatment plan which will include a full breakdown of the cost of the treatment.
A dental crown is a porcelain or metal cap that is used to fix teeth that have been broken, weakened by decay or have a very large filling. The crown fits over the remaining part of a prepared tooth, making it strong and giving it the shape of a natural tooth. It can be tooth coloured to give the restoration a more natural appearance.
