When I was seventeen years old I was involved in a motorcycle accident. The unfortunate outcome of this accident resulted in a young vain youth suddenly being minus his front teeth. Not the best look for a young man hoping to participate in the dating scene.
Fortunately all my other injuries seemed very minor to the loss of my two front teeth. This happened approximately fifty years ago when dental implants were not an option.
My dentist at that time fitted me with a denture. Initially the dentures were a very good fit but as most denture wearers know over time the dentures do loosen as they tend to act like a brace moving the adjacent teeth. After 50 years the gap between my front teeth had grown considerably requiring new dentures with larger teeth.
It was on a routine appointment with my current dentist, Priyesh Patel, that he asked if I had considered implants. I replied I hadn’t because of my age I didn't think I would be a suitable candidate. He said that wasn’t necessarily true. To cut a long story short I was found to be a suitable candidate and Priyesh fitted two dental implants and porcelain veneers on the two teeth adjacent to the implants.
All throughout ��I received first class treatment from Priyesh Patel. He explained the process in detail prior to and during each stage.

Had very bad infection of a molar which had caused sleepless nights, my problem was dealt with quickly and efficiently. Minimal pain during and after treatment. Even the pain killing injection is numbed nowadays. Going back to have implants later this year to complete my treatment, brilliant service.

Very kind friendly staff that put you at ease if nervous, the dentists are very good, Mr M Zahran mended my front tooth that was half broken and he did a brilliant I am so pleased, everyone says you can not even tell it was broken, it looks as good as new and colour blends perfect to my other teeth. Just wanted to say a huge ‘Thank you’ to the whole team for my treatment this week and over the past few months. All of you are so calm, friendly and caring – it makes a huge difference to me.I’ve struggled with anxiety over the past few months – something that has never happened to me before. You all put me a ease and responded to my several phone calls and emails so well! I didn’t think you could find a dentist with a more caring professionalism than Pauline, but I have to say she has a contender in Priyesh – just brilliant!
